About ingredients of Henna

Henna has Lawsone, a tannin dye molecule, in its leaves. It cannot look  them because it is masked by the chlorophyll.  When it pulverize the leaves and mix them with a slightly acidic liquid such as orange  juice, the dye molecule becomes available as the cell walls’ cellulose dissolves.   The dye molecule can then migrate out of the paste, breach cuticle cell walls in the hair shaft, and bind with the keratin.

It is totally healthy on the hair!  If you are concern getting damages by chemical color, would be nice to try out Henna, it is no chemical.

“Once you get started, you will like it for sure!”
