Japanese Hair Straightening Price   We would love to tell you that it is easy to calculate the Japanese Hair Straightening Price.  We would also love to tell you that one price applies to all hair types and all people.  Unfortunately we can't tell you either of those things.  Our Japanese Hair Straightening prices are in Canadian Dollars. We do promise to be completely honest and up front for you though.  Unlike many salons that will try to lure you into their shop with what appears to be an excellent price, then tell you your hair is too long or has too much volume for that price, and your price will be 2 or 3 times the price that looked great, we will give you a way to narrow in on the price with some fairly easy tools so you know exactly how much we are going to charge you before you come to see us. There are a few factors that need to be considered in order to calculate a proper Liscio Japanese Hair Straightening or Shiseido Crystallizing Hair straightening Price.  You can work out your price by adding up all the components to your hair straightening.  Hair Length, Hair Volume, and the potential need for a protein treatment. The first and probably most important part for determining how much it will cost for you to straighten your hair is its Length.

Hair Length

You will need to measure the length of your hair pulled tight from where your hair line starts on your forehead to the bottom of the longest hair on your back.  Don't forget to pull it tight and straight!

Up to 10 Inches (25 cm)   -  $255.00 CAD

From 10 inches (25 cm) to 14 inches (35 cm)  -  $280.00

From 14 inches (35 cm) to 18 inches (45 cm)  -  $305.00

From 18 inches (45 cm) to 22 inches (55 cm)  -  $330.00

From 22 inches (55 cm) to 26 inches (65 cm)  -  $355.00

From 26 inches (65 cm) to 30 inches (75 cm)  -  $380.00

From 30 inches (75 cm) to 34 inches (85 cm)  -  $405.00

From 34 inches (85 cm) to 38 inches (95 cm)  -  $430.00

Over 38 inches - here you will need to call us or come and see us! Sorry, you have really really long hair!

Hair Volume

Ok, now this gets a bit more difficult.  You need to take your flexible tape measure and wrap it around your ponytail held tightly together.  This will give you how far around or the circumference of your pony tail.  You can do this with a piece of string as well and then measure how long the string was around your pony tail.

Please take the amount of extra charge for your hair volume and add it to the price for Hair Length.

Circumference of up to 3 inches(7.5cm)  - No additional charge

Circumference of 3 (7.5cm) to 4 inches (10 cm) - $100

Circumference of 4 inches (10 cm) to 5 inches (12.5 cm)  - $150

Circumference of 5 inches (12.5 cm) to 6 inches (15cm) - $200

Circumference of 6 inches (15 cm) to 7 inches (18cm) - $250

Circumference of 7 inches (18 cm) to 8 inches (21 cm) - $300

Circumference of over 8 inches - here again you will have to call us or come and see us! Sorry, you have really really course hair!

Hair Type

Our prices will work for all hair types except African American hair.  Please understand that it is almost impossible to get African American hair completely straight.  We can not guarantee your hair will be completely straight, but take a look at our pictures to see how good we know we can do for you.  African American hair takes a little more after care to keep it straight.

If you think you have course African American hair, you will need to add the following to your price.  Use the same length as you did for length calculation and add this amount to your price based on your hair length.

From 10 inches (25 cm) to 14 inches (35 cm)  -  $50.00

From 14 inches (35 cm) to 18 inches (45 cm)  -  $75.00

From 18 inches (45 cm) to 22 inches (55 cm)  -  $100.00

From 22 inches (55 cm) to 26 inches (65 cm)  -  $125.00

From 26 inches (65 cm) to 30 inches (75 cm)  -  $150.00

From 30 inches (75 cm) to 34 inches (85 cm)  -  $175.00

From 34 inches (75 cm) to 38 inches (85 cm)  -  $200.00

If you have very curly hair but not African American Hair:

Up to 10 Inches (25 cm)   -  $15.00 CAD

From 10 inches (25 cm) to 14 inches (35 cm)  -  $30.00

From 14 inches (35 cm) to 18 inches (45 cm)  -  $45.00

From 18 inches (45 cm) to 22 inches (55 cm)  -  $60.00

From 30 inches (75 cm) to 34 inches (85 cm)  -  $105.00

Protein Treatment

If you have have weak hair color in your hair or highlights you will likely need a protein treatment.  This is to ensure the best quality of straightening.  You can refuse this, but we can not guarantee your straightening if you do.

From 10 inches (25 cm) to 14 inches (35 cm)  -  $15.00

From 14 inches (35 cm) to 18 inches (45 cm)  -  $20.00

From 18 inches (45 cm) to 22 inches (55 cm)  -  $25.00

From 22 inches (55 cm) to 26 inches (65 cm)  -  $30.00

From 26 inches (65 cm) to 30 inches (75 cm)  -  $35.00

From 30 inches (75 cm) to 34 inches (85 cm)  -  $40.00

Intensive Keratin Collagen Treatment

If you have ever refused to do hair straightening because of  your Highly damaged hair or very weak hair, we have special treatment  that make your hair stronger. A final note, if you have extremely damaged hair, or recently colored hair, we may need to do a test to see if it is possible to straighten your hair.  This test will take about 2 hours, and we charge $100 for the test.  The $100 will be discounted from your straightening appointment when you come to us for a straightening within 2 weeks of the test.  If our Stylist tells you to come back more than two weeks later, of course we will still apply this credit to your final straightening.

We require $100deposit for straightening appointment. if you would like to cancel or change the appointment date or time, we require 24hr notice or  we will charge $100.
