Lift UP America-Lift UP Canada>>

Lift Up America is a 501(c)(3) a non-profit humanitarian aid organization, connecting those with assets and serving hearts to
the real needs of America’s less fortunate families. We connect powerhouse corporate business leaders, professional sports
team owners, the entertainment and media industries and grassroots agencies to provide compassionate aid throughout our
nation. Lift Up America’s efforts are directed toward the children of the working poor and their families throughout the
nation. Working with our network of partners provides on-the-ground resources to convert our philanthropic dreams into
practical realities. Our vision is to engage today’s leaders, in cities across the nation, to equip the less fortunate with life aid to
support their physical, emotional, intellectual and personal development, resulting in increased hope for their future.
And now there’s even bigger news - on October 7, 2008 we will be launching Lift Up Canada with an extraordinary premiere
event at the Cinemark Theatre / International Village in downtown Vancouver!
The Eminata Group, led by Executive Chair Dr. Peter Chung, is primary sponsor of the premiere. In addition to the
scholarship for our honored guests, Vancouver Career College, part of the Eminata Group, will provide free dental exams and
treatments. Other sponsors include Cinemark, which is donating the theatre, free popcorn and beverage for the premiere. The
Luxottica Group will help children with vision problems see the movie with “new eyes” by fitting them with glasses before
the premiere. Ty Corporation will present each child with a plush toy and Rachael’s Challenge will bring high school students
from its values based assembly program to volunteer. This first Lift Up Canada event is a catalyst to inspire hope and ignite
communities to continue help for the less fortunate.

AOI Beauty Studio Supporting LIFT UP CANADA Event on Oct 7th >>>

On Tuesday, October 7, 2008, Lift Up Canada will bring 1,400 young people and their families to the Vancouver movie
premiere of “Meet Me in Miami” at Cinemark Tinseltown. The Lift Up Canada event will treat the children and their
families as the honoured guests at a Hollywood-style premiere hosted by actor and musician Jim Byrnes. They will arrive
in limousines, walk down the red carpet and be greeted by celebrities, sports stars and local dignitaries before they
watch the movie. It will be a night that they will remember forever.
The premiere is one of several activities that will allow individuals, businesses and other organizations in Vancouver to
give back to the city by helping under-resourced neighbourhoods. Our sponsors, Vancouver Career College and CDI
College of Business, Technology and Health Care have donated generously to fund the event. Both colleges have joined
forces and will give $1.4 million in scholarships to the honoured guests. In addition, CDI and Vancouver Career College
will give up to $1.7 million in scholarships to high school seniors through the Rachel’s Challenge program that is offered
as part of Lift Up Canada.
Cinemark Tinseltown will donate the theatre space and provide free popcorn and beverages for the honoured guests.
The Luxottica Group will fit children with vision problems with new glasses. Each guest will also receive a plush toy
courtesy of the Ty Corporation. Volunteer ambassadors will come to help out at the premiere and to inspire the young
people who walk down the red carpet.
Honoured
